Police seeking missing woman

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Missing person

Police are looking for a missing woman who left her home in the 5200 block of Blackburn Avenue sometime Sunday night.

Ruth Delores Obrien, 69, is described as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall and 110 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. She has no known physical or mental disabilities, but her family is concerned for her welfare, the APD said.

A man living in the 400 block of Iowa Street on Friday reported someone broke into a building on his property and stole tools and other items valued at $3,700.

A woman living in Hillcrest Apartments on Sunday reported someone had entered her residence and removed a PlayStation 3 gaming console and a cell phone, worth a combined $349.

Fugitive arrest

Police on Friday arrested Adam C. Christian, 24, in the 1300 block of Greenup Avenue after learning he was wanted for absconding from parole in West Virginia.

Christian was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
