CATLETTSBURG — Gate City sets special meeting

CATLETTSBURG - The Catlettsburg City Council will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the city building to discuss Radio Park Road.

Huntington hunt will be March 30

HUNTINGTON - Radio station 93.7 “The Dawg,” a locally owned and operated Kindred Communications station, will have its fourth annual Easter Eggstravaganza at 10 a.m. March 30.

The event will be on the lawn at the Cabell County Courthouse between Fourth and Fifth avenues and Eighth and Ninth streets.

“It's a sister celebration to our Halloweenfest we host every fall at the same location,” said Kindred President and General Manager Mike Kirtner. “It’s very important to us to give freely to the families in the area, just as we’ve done for over two decades in the fall.”

The event will feature more than 10,000 eggs hidden across the lawn. Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes.

“Our goal is that no one goes home without something in their basket,” Kirtner said.
