Car carrying 6 rolls into creek

FLATWOODS — Two were injured when a car fell into a creek after the brakes failed on Sunday, according to police.

The car was backing out of a driveway on Beth Ann Drive when the driver noticed the brakes weren’t working. The car went down an embankment and into a creek.

Six were inside the car with two send to hospitals, including one who was airlifted after suffering from a head injury.

The car had two adults in their 60s, two in their 20s and there were also two young children, police said.
