ASHLAND — Greenup’s Final Friday this week


The last event of the Final Friday series will from 6 to 8 p.m. today on Main Street at the courthouse square.

Live music will be provided by Sister Redden Hair, Bronson Bush, Isaac Stephens and others.

Pulled pork BBQ sandwich, coleslaw, chips and a drink by The Lamp Post Café will be available for $7.  A classic car show by the Greenup Cruisers is planned. Attendees should bring their own seating.

Cook book, knife sale ongoing

ASHLAND The Southland Bible Institute Ladies Auiliary is selling cookbooks and RADA cutlery to raise money to replace the carpet in the building.

They also plan to have a yard sale Aug. 2 and 3 on the Southland campus.

To arrange a time to drop off items for donation to the sale, call (606) 928-5127.

Southland Bible Institute is at 238 W. Southland Drive.
