Tires, car, tools among stolen items

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

Police arrested an Argillite woman after Belk reported the theft of merchandise worth $479.

Canteen Vending reported the theft of nine crates of Mountain Dew, six crates of Pepsi, seven boxes of assorted chips and 25 boxes of assorted candy, all worth $749. The merchandise was stolen from an unlocked delivery truck.

Don Hall Chevrolet reported the theft of four new wheels and tires from a 2015 GMC Yukon and damaged a Cadillac ATS. The dealer estimated more than $1,000 in damage.

A resident of the 1500 block of Montgomery Avenue reported the theft of a bicycle from her front yard. The bicycle, worth $100, was described as an Avigo 20-inch girl’s model and was white with purple cranks.

A resident of the 1600 block of Lexington Avenue reported the theft of a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria. The car was recovered by the Ohio Highway Patrol after it was wrecked.

A resident of the 1400 block of Gallaher Drive reported the theft of a credit card, which was then used at JC Penney.

Burglary

A resident of the 700 block of 15th Street reported the theft of power tools in a garage break-in. Items reported stolen included a men’s bicycle, woman’s bicycle, air compressor, table saw, belt sander, power drill, assorted scrap copper and a power scooter. The total value of the items was $1,560.
