ASHLAND The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
‰A woman living in the 2800 block of Stephens Court on Nov. 24 reported she heard a loud noise in her residence, and upon inspection, found what appeared to be a bullet hole in her bedroom wall.
‰A 32-year-old Ashland man was arrested Wednesday after leading police on a foot chase in the 200 block of 31st Street. In addition to second-degree fleeing or evading police, the suspect was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
‰A man and woman living in the 2400 block of Adams Avenue on Sunday reported the theft of various items, including a watch, iPhone, camera and guitar, all valued at $515, from their residence.
‰A man and a woman from Pike County were charged with tampering with physical evidence, a Class D felony, after being arrested Saturday for allegedly trying to shoplift at J.C. Penney.
Brittany M. Smith, 21, and Nathaniel Preston, 25, both of Pikeville, also were charged with second-and third-degree drug possession. Smith was also charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The shoplifting incident involved merchandise valued at $415, the APD said.
‰Dick’s Sporting Goods on River Hill Drive last week reported two subjects concealed items in a shopping cart, proceeded past the registers and left the store without paying for them.
‰A 32-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Wednesday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $201.40.
‰A 22-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Wednesday at Walmart for allegedly trying to shoplift merchandise valued at $47.12.
‰A 22-year-old Franklin Furnace, Ohio, man was arrested Thursday for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $21.99 from Spencer’s Gifts in the Ashland Town Center.
‰A 30-year-old Grayson woman and a 36-year-old Ashland woman were arrested Saturday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $65.41.
‰A 34-year-old Grayson woman and a 33-year-old West Liberty man were arrested Sunday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $102.80 from Walmart.
