Thefts, shoplifting reported to APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

A woman living in Hillcrest Apartments on Tuesday reported the theft of prescription pills and jewelry from her residence.

A man on Wednesday reported someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked on Collins Drive and removed a pair of headphones and $240 cash.

Shoplifting

Walmart on Wednesday reported the theft of merchandise valued at $327.

A 27-year-old Ashland man was arrested Thursday at Walmart for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $29.88.

An 18-year-old Flatwoods man was arrested March 2 at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $98.82.
