ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Robbery

‰A man on Friday morning reported he was robbed by three suspects who beat him with baseball bats.

The victim told police the robbers — two women and a man — had stolen his cellphone and his medication.

The location of the incident was unclear. The victim reported the incident about 1 a.m. while being treated at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Assault

‰A 21-year-old man was arrested Thursday on misdemeanor assault charges following a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Fleming Court. The man allegedly assaulted his live-in girlfriend and her brother, injuring both, the APD said.

‰A 33-year-old Rush man was arrested Thursday on a misdemeanor assault charge for allegedly slapping and shoving a woman at Hillcrest Apartments.

Shoplifting

‰A 25-year-old Ashland man was arrested Thursday at Kroger for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $1.99.
