Ashlander faces drug charges
ASHLAND - An Ashland man faced multiple drug charges after the Ashland Police Department executed a search warrant overnight.
Roger P. Patterson, 19, was charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
Field operations for the APD seized 21 ounces of suspected marijuana, assorted paraphernalia, $685 in cash and two firearms.
Woman allegedly assaults husband
LLOYD - A Greenup County woman was charged with first-degree assault after allegedly stabbing her husband on Saturday, according to Greenup County Sheriff’s deputies.
Victoria Blanton allegedly stabbed her husband, Thomas Blanton, at their home on Elwood Lane. He drove himself to work and reported in the incident to 911, deputies said.
Mrs. Blanton was lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
