Rape, thefts reported to APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

An Ashland woman reported on Sunday that she had been raped. The woman told police she had sex with a man after telling him she did not want to. The incident occurred on May 10 in the 1800 block of Winchester Avenue. Police investigated, but found the accusation to be unfounded.

Theft

An Ashland man living in the 1700 block of Lexington Avenue reported  Tuesday that his iPhone 4, valued at $400, was stolen in Central Park and later sold to Gamestop at Pullman Square in Huntington.

A man reported to police Wednesday that his wallet containing $480 in cash, his driver’s license, Social Security card, debit card and other personal identification and paperwork were stolen on Tuesday. The man told police he left his wallet in the Dairy Queen men’s room and when he came back 45 minutes later, it was gone.

A woman living in the 1400 block of Packard Street reported on Tuesday that $200 in clothing was removed from her home. She gave police the names of two female suspects.

An Ironton man was arrested Thursday for stealing $19.98 in merchandise from Kroger.

An Ashland woman was arrested Thursday for stealing $33.25 in merchandise from Kroger.

An Ashland was arrested Thursday for identity theft. Police say he gave police and jailers the name and personal information of another individual.

A Lucasville woman and a juvenile were arrested on Thursday for stealing $225 in merchandise from JCPenney. The pair were also charged with drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. The woman is also accused of having an unlawful transaction with a minor.

Disorderly Conduct

Police are investigating a incident of disorderly conduct on Tuesday in the 3200 block of old 13th Street. Police say a man created a physically offensive condition when he pulled his pants down and showed his anus to a juvenile female.
