ASHLAND — Boyd County sheriff's deputies arrested three Thursday after locating a dozen methamphetamine processing setups in a house in Ashland.

Benjamin J. Ward, 31, Michelle R. Vaughn, 39, and Michael J. Crisp, 39, all were lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center on meth-related charges, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.

The sheriff's department said a confidential informant working for its Drug Task Force made a controlled purchase of meth from a residence in the 1500 block of Hilton Avenue. That led to the issuance of a search warrant for the house.

In addition to the 12 meth labs, deputies located finished product, paraphernalia and cash.

Ward and Vaughn were charged with trafficking in and manufacturing meth, while Crisp was charged with manufacturing and possession of meth and meth precursors. All three suspects were still in custody this morning.
