Two were killed in a hit-and-run accident on Ky. 1010 in Morgan County around 7 p.m. Saturday.
According to Kentucky State Police, Elizabeth Thornsberry, 41, of Ezel, and Tony Ross, 48, of Clearfield, had been at Jaspers Bar in Maytown. Ross left Jaspers on foot and was followed by Thornsberry in her 2001 Pontiac Bonneville traveling east toward Ezel.
State police surmised Thornsberry stopped and got out to speak with Ross. They were standing in the westbound lane when a vehicle traveling west struck and killed them.
The vehicle is thought to be a full-size blue GMC pickup with damage to the front grill and bumper. As of Sunday afternoon, the truck and driver had not been located.
Those with information about the case are asked to call the KSP at (606) 784-4127.
