ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Fleeing, evading

‰An Ashland man who fled from police while being questioned about recent burglaries on Thursday was apprehended and jailed after a short foot chase.

According to the APD, Noah Jones, 19, took off on foot after officers learned he had outstanding warrants and told him he was under arrest.

Jones was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and third-degree burglary.


‰A woman living in Hillcrest Apartments recently reported the theft of an Android electronic tablet from her residence.

‰A woman on Wednesday reported her wallet was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 3800 block of Greenway Road.

‰A woman on Thursday reported $63 cash and prescription drugs had turned up missing from her purse after she spent the night with a friend in the 4700 block of Kilgore Drive.

‰A man on Thursday reported two GPS units and a Speedway credit card were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 3100 block of Central Avenue.


‰Police on Thursday arrested an Ashland woman for allegedly having cocaine in her possession.

Jesseca B. Dye, 33, was charged with first-degree drug possession and also with giving an officer a false name, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree drug possession. She was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.

Dye was arrested at 3:10 a.m. in the 1700 block of Hilton Avenue, the APD said.
