The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
‰A resident of the 3200 block of Simpson Road reported the theft of a laptop computer worth $220. The resident said the computer went missing when a visitor left his home.
‰Tri-State Regional Cancer Center reported stolen prescription blanks and said the blanks had been in a metal lock box that was stolen. The blanks were for controlled substance prescriptions.
‰A man reported the theft of his metal mail box and post from his rental property in the 500 block of Cherrington Street. The man named a suspect.
‰Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital reported the theft of a company Toyota Tacoma pickup.
‰Kroger reported the theft of merchandise worth $38.89. The store named a suspect.
‰A resident of the 4800 block of Richardson Road reported the theft of a shotgun in a brown case, a rifle in a black case with camo sling and medication. The value of the stolen items was $700. The thief got into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took the guns and medicine.
‰A man reported the theft of a stove, refrigerator, window air conditioner, garage door opener and antique stove from a rental property in the 4200 block of Blackburn Avenue. He told police his tenant took the items when he vacated the property. Police have a suspect.
‰A West Virginia woman reported the theft of her car registration card with the renewal decal still attached when the car was parked at her daughter’s home on Forest Avenue.
‰Walmart reported five occurrences of shoplifting, with the total amount of the stolen merchandise being $782. Police have suspects.
‰A resident of the 200 block of 16th Street reported the theft of $50 in cash, a case of beer, a cell phone and charger from his residence. The value of the stolen items was $72.
‰A resident of the 3200 block of Holt Street reported the theft of a cell phone worth $200. The phone was stolen from his residence.
‰The Lawrence County Sheriff’s office reported that a laptop computer reported stolen in Louisa had turned up at Tri-State Pawn in Ashland. Police have a suspect.
‰Two women in the 2300 block of Crooks Street told police a man had threatened to kill them.
‰A firm in the 400 block of 21st Street reported the theft of a desktop computer and monitor worth $600. The thief pried open a door to get in the building, doing $500 worth of damage to the door.
‰Burglars stole scaffolding and roofing supplies from a storage garage in the 2200 block of Winchester Avenue.
