APD: Prostitution suspect arrested

ASHLAND The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Prostitution

‰Police arrested a Boyd County woman on Winchester Avenue after she allegedly agreed to perform a sexual act for money. Police described the woman as a known prostitute.

Fugitive

‰In separate incidents, police arrested two Boyd County men on warrants from Lawrence County, Ohio.

Theft

‰A resident of the Bruce Apartments complex reported the theft of an Android cellphone and $50 in cash. The victim named a suspect.

‰Tri-State Pawn on Winchester Avenue reported the theft of an HP laptop computer. Police have a suspect.

Unlawful transaction

with a minor

‰Police accuse a suspect of hiding a girl younger than 18 from police by concealing her inside a hole cut in his bedroom wall in the 2900 block of Belmont Street.
