GEORGETOWN — The Kentucky 4-H Homecoming, the annual signature event for the Kentucky 4-H Foundation, will be at 6 p.m. April 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The event reconnects former 4-H’ers and 4-H leaders as well as friends, volunteers and supporters of Kentucky 4-H.

“The first two 4-H Homecomings were huge successes and we expect this year’s event to be even more successful,” said Keith L. Rogers, executive director of the foundation.

“Our homecoming is for those who hold 4-H near and dear to their heart, want to reconnect with old friends, want to make new friends and want to support 4-H and the youngsters who participate in it. This is your chance to not only reconnect with friends, but also to help assure a bright future for Kentucky 4-H.”

The evening will include a reception, dinner, silent auction, slideshow of historic photos and homecoming program. The dress for event is casual and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $40 a person and RSVPs should be made by April 12. New to this year’s homecoming is an optional outing at Keeneland on April 21; tickets for the Keeneland event are $10 a person when ordered by April 1. To register for both events or for more information about them, visit kentucky4hfoundation.org.

The Hilton Garden Inn provides a reduced room rate of $89 a night (plus tax), which includes breakfast, for the entire weekend. The rate is good only until April 8. To make room reservations, call the hotel at (502) 863-0099 and say you are with the Kentucky 4-H Foundation or provide the group code 4H2. Rooms can also be reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn Georgetown website.

Attendees can pay for the homecoming and Keeneland events via check or credit card. For more information, visit the foundation’s website or email Rogers at KeithL.Rogers@uky.edu.
