SOUTH SHORE — Authorities have made an arrested in a stabbing Wednesday night in rural Greenup County that left a man critically injured.
Reece A. Frasure Sr., 50, of South Shore, was lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center on a charge if first-degree assault.
The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at a residence on Mica's Walk Road, which is off the A-A Highway. According to the Greenup County Sheriff's Department, Frasure and another man — whose name wasn't immediately available — got into a fight that culminated with Frasure stabbing the other man in the chest with a steak knife.
The victim was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital, where, according to the sheriff's department, he was in critical condition.
