Thefts, burglaries reported to APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

‰A resident of the 400 block of 34th Street reported the theft of a laptop computer worth $400 from her residence.

‰A resident of the 2000 block of Pollard Road reported the theft of a five-gallon jug of coins and currency. About $1,000 was in the jar.

‰A resident of the 1500 block of Ferguson Street reported the theft of a yellow gold ring with cluster of diamonds. The ring was worth $800.

‰Rent A Center at 1701 Central Ave. reported the theft of a GPS device and cordless drill from an unlocked company van.

‰AT&T at 817 Winchester Ave. reported theft of a cellphone by a thief who concealed it and left without paying.

Burglary

‰A burglar broke into Movies 10 at 400 Armco Road and stole two $50 bills and four $10 gift cards.

Criminal mischief

‰A resident of the 600 block of 13th Street reported the front passenger side window of his car broken and said his ex-girlfriend had done the damage.
