The following information was taken from the Ashland Police Department reports:
‰An Ashland man living in the 1600 block of Elliott Avenue reported June 17 that a male friend stole his iPhone during a recent visit to the victim’s home. The phone is valued at $200.
The man then used the financial information from the telephone account to pay another credit card bill.
‰A man reported June 17 that his Ohio food stamp card was stolen and used at Kroger to purchase $92.03 in items.
‰An Ashland woman living in the 1200 block of Stella Road reported June 17 that her medication, valued at $100, was stolen. The woman discovered the pills missing after a relative had spent the night at her home.
‰An Ashland woman living in the 2100 block of Phelps Avenue reported June 17 that her son’s 24-inch, red Mongoose bicycle with front and back pegs and a Spider Man bell was stolen from the front yard. The bike is valued at $90.
‰A woman reported Thursday she had $120 in cash stolen.
‰An employee of Ar Tobacco Inc. reported Friday an unknown man stole 11 cartons of Marlboro cigarettes valued at $540 from the business.
‰An employee of Dollar General, 4126 Winchester Ave., reported Saturday merchandise valued at $6.27 was stolen.
‰An woman living in the 1700 block of Beverly Boulevard reported June 17 that an iPad and a pair of red and black Dr. Dre power beats headphones, together valued at $300, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of the home.
‰An Ashland woman living in the 800 block of Halbert Street reported Friday she had purchased a refrigerator and stove from another woman for $150 but they were never delivered.
‰An Ashland man living in the 2300 block of Hilton Avenue reported June 19 that his children’s bicycles were stolen from his front porch. The bicycles were an 18-inch, boy’s green and black Huffy alien bike, a 20-inch, boy’s Mongoose bike with orange flames and a 20-inch, red Mongoose bike. Together the bicycles are valued at $517.
‰Two women reported Saturday their wallets, together valued at $75, were stolen from a locked vehicle in the 3900 block of Winchester Avenue. The vehicle was damaged in the theft, but damages are estimated at less than $500.
‰A woman reported Saturday that two wallets, valued at $70, were stolen from a car in the 3300 block of Condit Street.
‰An Ashland man living in the 2200 block of Woodland Avenue reported Sunday that an iPhone in a black otter box, valued at $50, was stolen from his vehicle. The man reported a neighbor saw a white male reach into an open passenger window and take the phone from a passenger seat.
‰An employee of the Dollar General reported Sunday merchandise valued at $15 was stolen from the store.
‰An Ashland woman living in the 2500 block of Hilton Avenue reported Monday the theft of a silver and orange Mongoose bicycle, valued at $150, from outside the home.
‰An Ashland woman living in the 200 block of Providence Drive reported Monday that $240 in funds on a prepaid card was stolen.
‰A man and woman reported Tuesday the back passenger window of their vehicle was broken and items valued at $1,178 stolen. Items stolen included: a Coach purse and wallet containing numerous credit and debit cards, personal checks, drivers’ licenses and health cards, two Kindles and cases and a pink Nintendo DS. The thief then used one of the stolen debit cards to withdraw $123 in cash. The car was parked at the time of the theft in the 2200 block of Lexington Avenue.
‰An Ashland woman reported Sunday that she was assaulted and injured. Police have a male suspect.
‰A woman reported early Sunday morning the driver’s side window of her Chevrolet pickup truck was broken out in the 400 block of Armco Road. Damage is estimated at $200.
‰A 36-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Saturday just before 1 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lexington Avenue and charged with drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. The woman was found in a public place under the influence of drugs. A search revealed a drug containing syringe, and a spoon with burn marks on the bottom.
‰An Ashland man was arrested Sunday for violating the conditions of a Kentucky DVO when he had contact and communication with the petitioner.
‰An Ashland man and a juvenile suspect were arrested Monday in Ashland Central Park. Police say both suspects were observed with a leafy green substance, they have been charged with possession and trafficking marijuana, trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school. The male suspect was also charged with having an unlawful transaction with a minor second degree.
‰A 41-year-old Grayson woman was arrested Monday on 22nd Street on five outstanding warrants. They included two for driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, criminal mischief third degree and the possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle.
