Police arrested two on drug trafficking charges Wednesday at a Catlettsburg apartment complex.
Police seized heroin and pills during the bust, according to Catlettsburg Police Chief John Justice.
Arrested at the Grandview Manor apartments were Lisa M. Hodge, 35, of Kenova, and William J. Fraley, 49, of Ceredo, Justice said.
Hodges was charged with first-degree drug trafficking and third-degree drug trafficking. Fraley was charged with two counts of first-degree drug trafficking.
Both had heroin; Hodge had hydrocodone pills and Fraley had oxycodone pills, Justice said. Police confiscated the drugs.
According to Justice, police had gotten calls complaining of drug activity in the apartment building, and when they arrived there around 9 p.m., they approached Hodge in her mother’s apartment.
They searched the apartment and found the drugs, then learned that Fraley was waiting for her in the parking lot. Police searched him and found drugs.
Hodge was arrested in her mother’s apartment, where she told police she was visiting. Authorities don’t suspect her mother of wrongdoing, Justice said.
The drugs were sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Hodge and Fraley were taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
