ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

‰Police say a woman wrote a check to herself from a book of stolen checks and cashed it at the City National Bank branch on River Hill Drive.

‰Walmart reported the theft of merchandise worth $30. Police have a suspect.

‰Police arrested an Ashland man accused of possessing stolen merchandise from Wireless Communications worth $450.

‰Police accuse a man of stealing a rental car by failing to return it to the dealer, Bill Cole Nissan.

Robbery

‰Police say a man was threatened by a prostitute and another man on Winchester Avenue when he refused to give them $20 after having sex with the prostitute.
