Thefts, endangerment reported to APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department Reports:

Theft

A man reported that his Casio G-Shock watch, valued at $300, was stolen while he was at the YMCA in April. The incident was reported May 16.

A woman is suspected of stealing $421.75 from Walmart between May 30 and June 11 in a case of theft by deception.

A Chesapeake, Ohio, woman was arrested Tuesday for stealing $180 in merchandise from Belk.

Burglary

A shed at Verity Middle School on Kansas Street was broken into and a weed trimmer and craftsman leaf blower valued at $400 removed, according to police. The incident was reported May 28.

Police arrested an Ashland man Thursday for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license.

Endangerment

Police are investigating a case of child endangerment. Police report an Ashland mother living in the 2400 block of Hilton Avenue, left her two minor children home alone and unattended. The incident was reported on Tuesday.  

Drugs and alcohol

An Ashland man was arrested Tuesday night following a verbal argument between him and his father that occurred in the 200 block of 17th Street. The man was found by police to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of marijuana.

An Ashland man living in the 200 block of 16th Street was arrested Wednesday for alcohol intoxication. He was arrested in the 1800 block of Winchester Avenue.  

A man living in the 1200 block of Winslow Road was arrested at his home Tuesday for alcohol intoxication.

Other

An Ashland man living in the 1800 block of Winchester Avenue was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.
