Lindsey Wilson College will host its seventh annual Pinning Ceremony in Ashland at 11 a.m. Saturday at J.B. Sowards Theater at Ashland Community and Technical College, 1400 College Drive.
The college will honor the academic excellence and achievement of 15 students with a ceremony for 10 graduate students earning M.Ed. degrees in counseling and human development and five undergraduate students earning B.A. degrees in human services and counseling.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Melinda Mays, co-director of the Ashland Campus Counseling Center. Ben Flannery will speak as the student representative for the undergraduate class and Melody Pewitt will speak as the student representative for graduate students.
“We would like to encourage the public to help us recognize the discipline, dedication and devotion of each of the students graduating. We at Lindsey Wilson College are very proud of them,” said Jennifer Jeffers, coordinator at the ACTC campus.
