Woman reports robbery on Bath Avenue

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Robbery

‰A woman on Friday she was robbed by three men in the 3100 block of Bath Avenue.

The incident occurred about 6:50 p.m. The victim told police the men approached her and forcibly stole items from her vehicle and her person.

Stolen were the victim’s purse, a flat-panel TV and a digital camera, all valued at $270.

‰An Ohio man wanted for robbery was hit with an additional charge after police found brass knuckles on him as they were arresting him.

Christopher M. Frazier, 29, of Ironton, was arrested last week at Kroger on an outstanding warrant charging him with first-degree robbery. He was also charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Details of the robbery Frazier was wanted in were not immediately available. He was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.

Sexual abuse

‰A 39-year-old Ashland man was arrested Saturday on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse after a juvenile girl reported he abused her while she was having consensual sex with two other male juveniles.

Ernest Booker, of the 600 block of 10th Street, was lodged in the BCDC.

During the course of the arrest, officers executed a search warrant, and the search turned up drugs and drug paraphernalia belonging to the owner of the residence, Michael Rocchi, 39. He was arrested on charges of first-degree drug possession, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Burglary

‰A woman on Friday reported someone unlawfully entered an empty residence in the 4100 block of 41st Street and stole collectible knives, coins and jewelry, all valued at $10,200.

Theft

‰A man last week reported his wallet, which had $400 cash in it, was stolen at Walmart.

Auto theft

‰A resident of the 700 block of 15th Street on Saturday reported his 1985 Volkswagen Jetta was stolen from the alley behind his residence.

‰A man on Sunday reported the theft of a 16-foot utility trailer from a location in the 4500 block of Shannon Drive.

Shoplifting

‰A 25-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Friday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $10 from Food Fair, 2912 Blackburn Ave.

‰A 32-year-old Ashland man was arrested Friday for allegedly attempting to steal items valued at $390 from J.C. Penney.

‰A 22-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Friday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $85 from Belk.
