Woman reports jewelry theft

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

‰A woman living in the 4800 block of Crittenden Drive on Monday reported jewelry valued at approximately $36,000 had been stolen from her residence. About $2,000 worth of the stolen items were subsequently recovered at a local pawn shop, the APD said.

‰Ray’s Roofing, 3000 Greenup Ave., on Tuesday reported someone stole a 24-inch walk board from the roof of a van.

‰A man on Tuesday reported someone broke into his truck while it was parked at the Ashland Area YMCA and stole his wallet.

‰A man reported Tuesday someone stole an electric guitar from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at Walmart.

‰A man Tuesday night reported someone stole a laptop computer and two boxes of baseball cards from his vehicle while it was parked at Ashland Town Center.

Shoplifting

‰A 51-year-old Ashland man was arrested Tuesday at Carter Avenue Beverage Center after he allegedly tried to shoplift a bottle of vodka valued at $7.99. The suspect also was charged with possession of a legend drug.
