Woman reports more than $3,700 in fraudulent charges

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Credit card fraud

A woman on Wednesday reported a total of $3,745.73 in fraudulent charges had been made on her stolen credit card at Walmart and Speedway.


The owner of a rental home in the 400 block of Blackburn Avenue on Wednesday reported the theft of a stove, refrigerator and copper piping from that property.


A 20-year-old Russell man was arrested Sunday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $9.88.


A woman reported she was assaulted by another woman about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Winchester Avenue, resulting in minor injuries.
