Various thefts reported to APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

A resident of the 2600 block of Adams Avenue last week reported the theft of a .22-caliber pistol.

A man on Thursday reported the theft of an iPad Mini and case from his girlfriend’s residence in the 2300 block of Boone Street.

Move Rite Transfer & Storage Co., 1300 Greenup Ave., Thursday reported five firearms belonging to one of its customers had been stolen and pawned at a local pawn shop.

A woman on Thursday reported her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 600 block of May Court.

A man living in the 300 block of Long Street on Thursday reported the theft of a laptop computer and a TV from his residence.

Animal complaint

A woman on Thursday reported she was attacked and bitten by a dog in the 2300 block of Hickory Ridge Drive.

Shoplifting

A 51-year-old Catlettsburg woman was arrested Thursday at Walmart for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $40.31.
