Man reports theft of Mustang convertible

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Auto theft

A man on Thursday reported his silver 2007 Ford Mustang convertible, valued at $12,000, had been stolen from the Ashland Town Center parking lot.


An employee of the Dollar General store at 4126 Winchester Ave. on Thursday reported a man entered the store’s office area and stole her Samsung Galaxy S2 phone, valued at $200.


Captain D’s, 3033 Winchester Ave., on Thursday reported finding two counterfeit bills in its register.


Two 23-year-old men, one from Branchland, W.Va., and one from Ranger, W.Va., were arrested Thursday at Walmart for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $48.
