Several thefts reported to APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

‰The Salvation Army, 2212 Carter Ave., on Wednesday reported the license plate had been stolen from one of its vehicles.

‰A woman living in the 3100 block of Powell Street on Tuesday reported someone had stolen a credit card from her purse.

‰A woman last week reported her iPhone was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 3700 block of Skyline Drive.

Stalking

‰A woman living on Belmont Street on Wednesday reported a man had been continually following her and leaving notes on the door of her home.

Criminal mischief

‰A woman living in the 4200 block of Gartrell Street on Friday reported a man who had been a guest in her house began punching and kicking the walls, damaging them, along with two interior doors and a china cabinet.

Shoplifting

‰A 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman from Ironton were arrested Sunday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $88.84. Both suspects also had outstanding warrants, the APD said.

‰Walmart on Sunday reported two unknown men had shoplifted an Emerson 32-inch LCD TV.
