ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Burglary

‰An Ashland man reported June 22 that items valued at $6,800 were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Simpson Road some time in the previous two weeks. Items taken included two drills, two 30-foot extension ladders, a Little Giant ladder, three window air conditioner units, a truck tool box, laminate wood and padding, an 18-volt Dewalt drill, a lawn mower, two circular saws, a miter saw, an air compressor, a multigame table, a DVD table, two stereo systems, antique coins, air compressor attachments, a speaker box, pots and pans and miscellaneous hand tools.

Theft

‰A 18-year-old Flatwoods man was arrested Wednesday for stealing $103.10 in merchandise from Walmart.

‰A West Virginian reported Thursday his wallet containing credit cards, his driver’s license and student identification along with $30 in cash was stolen from the Verizon store at Ashland Town Center.

Drugs

‰An evicted tenant of Scope Towers is suspected of cultivating marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia. A worker reported to police Thursday morning a plant thought to be marijuana and a syringe thought to have been used for drug activity was found in the apartment after it was vacated.
