Police beat: 12/11/12

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:


‰A woman living in the 800 block of 25th Street last week reported six rings, valued at a total of $4,800, had been stolen from a jewelry box in her bedroom.

‰A resident of the 4200 block of Blackburn Avenue on Friday reported someone broke into her car and stole her employer-issued laptop computer, valued at $1,000.

‰A woman living in Gla-Lo Apartments on Saturday reported the theft of on Apple iPhone valued at $400.

‰A woman on Saturday reported $3,500 cash was stolen from her purse while it was in a locker in a break room at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Criminal mischief

‰A man on Friday reported someone attempted to pry open the passenger side door on his 2008 Ford F-150 pickup while it was parked at Ashland Town Center, causing about $1,000 damage to the vehicle.

‰A resident of the 2300 block of Griffith Street on Saturday reported someone had vandalized his house by throwing eggs at it.

EPO violation

‰A 32-year-old Ashland man was arrested early Monday morning at KDMC for allegedly violating an emergency protective order his wife had obtained against him.
