Ashland Police Dept. investigates burglaries

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:


‰A resident of the 2400 block of Hilton Avenue on Monday reported someone forced their way into her home through a back window and stole a laptop computer and pearls, valued at a combined $1,600.

‰Chase Bank last week reported someone broke into a house it owns in the 4000 block of Jones Avenue and stripped out copper pipe valued at $2,000.


‰A woman living in the 4600 block of Canterbury Court recently reported the theft of two rings, valued at a combined $650, from a jewelry box in her bedroom.

‰A woman on Thursday reported the battery was stolen from her car while it was parked in the 1700 block of Winchester Avenue.

‰A woman last week reported an accordion folder containing patient medical evaluation forms was stolen from her car while it was parked in the 2500 block of Hilton Avenue.

‰A resident of the 1500 block of Fairfax Drive on Monday reported the theft of various items including a Nintendo DS and games, a pre-paid cell phone, DVDs and books, all valued at $848.
