Police on Saturday arrested a man on charges of unlawful imprisonment and being a fugitive from another state following an incident at Hillcrest Apartments.
David E. Rice, 24, of Greenup, was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, where he remained on Monday.
According to the APD, Rice allegedly “unlawfull restrained” tree adults and a juvenile “by verbal threats and physical defiance” in an attempt to avoid police officers.
A woman on Sunday reported a a man had forced to have sex with him while she was unable to consent due to being under the influence of “multiple drugs.”
The alleged incident occured in the 2200 block of Carter Avenue.
Someone removed the heating and air conditioning unit from a vacant home in the 300 block of 32nd Street owned by Bank of America. The theft was reported Friday.
A resident of the 900 block of Ashland Avenue on Thursday reported the theft of a Sony PlayStation 3 gaming console valued at $300,
A man and woman on Friday reported someone threw a rock through the front passenger window of their vehicle while it was parked in the 400 block of Winchester Avenue and removed a purse and 19 rifle shells.
A man on Thursday reported someone broke into his home in the 300 block of 24th Street and removed two 42-inch LED TVs, a 32-inch LED TV and three DVD players, all valued at $1,021.
