FLATWOODS — Two arrested in Flatwoods

FLATWOODS - The FADE Drug Task Force on Tuesday made a pair of drug arrests in Flatwoods after residents complained of a man exhibiting bizarre behavior.

The man, later identified as Tyer Norkett, was running around outside after dark with no shirt or shoes and told a neighbor he’d been taking LSD, according to a FADE news release.

Norkett gave FADE officers consent to search his home after being taken to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. The search turned up oxycodone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, FADE said.

Norkett was cited to court because of his condition.

A woman in the home, Joli Thomas of Flatwoods, was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
