ASHLAND — The USS LST 325, scheduled to dock in Ashland next week, has begun its cruise up the Ohio River and will pass through the area tonight.
It will go through the Greenup Locks and Dam around 7 p.m. and is expected to be close to Ashland about 30 minutes later on its way to Charleston, W.Va. The 328-foot ship will then return to Ashland before traveling on to stops in Madison, Ind., and Owensboro.

The USS LST 325 will be open for public tours at the Port of Ashland, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 5-9. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 17. Children under 5 are free and a family pass for two adults and two children is $20.
