Flashing arrow trailer vandalized

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Criminal mischief

‰Someone vandalized a flashing directional traffic arrow trailer located on Winchester Avenue, causing about $1,000 damage, the APD said. The incident occurred Monday or Tuesday.

‰A man last week reported someone shot the rear window of his vehicle twice with a pellet gun, causing it to crack. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Greenup Avenue.


‰A man living in the 3100 block of Geiger Street on Tuesday reported someone broke into his storage building and stole two stackable toolboxes containing miscellaneous tools.

Auto theft

‰Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 2101 Winchester Ave., on Monday reported a man had rented a 2014 Toyota Yaris from the agency last month and had not returned it.


‰A woman living in the 1100 block of Highland Avenue on Monday reported the theft of five credit cards, which she had been used at several local stores.

‰A woman living in the 500 block of Blackburn Avenue on Monday reported the theft of a bicycle from her yard.


‰A 20-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Monday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $30.94.
