ASHLAND — Ashland police arrested a Greenup man after raiding a suspected methamphetamine lab early this morning.
Items found in the apartment in the 200 block of 16th Street led to the arrest of Chance M. Riffe, 22, of Greenup, the APD said. He was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, charged with manufacturing meth, a Class B felony. Officers also served Riffe with an unrelated warrant from Greenup County.
The APD said it obtained a search warrant for the apartment after receiving a tip a meth lab was operating there.
