Woman charged with endangering her daughter

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Endangerment

‰Police on Monday arrested a woman on a felony endangerment charge after she was found to be driving under the influence of drugs with her juvenile daughter in the car.

Patricia A. Thompson, 38, of the 2900 block of Gibbs Court, was charged with second-degree wanton endangerment and driving under the influence following a traffic stop at 7:40 a.m. in an unspecified location on 29th Street, the APD said.

Thompson wasn’t listed on the Boyd County Detention Center’s inmate roster on Tuesday.

Theft

‰AK Steel on Monday reported the theft of copper valued at approximately $2,000 from the site of its closed coke plant.

‰Phillips Body Shop, 1950 Greenup Ave., on Monday reported someone stole all four wheels and tires from a 2005 Ford Escape parked on the lot of the business.

‰A woman living in the 4900 block of Sherwood Drive on Monday reported the theft of jewelry, a jar filled with change and a set of silverware, all valued at $15,300.

Criminal mischief

‰State Electrical Supply, 2528 Greenup Ave., on Tuesday morning reported someone had thrown a rock through one of its windows, causing about $1,000 damage.
