The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
‰A woman living in the 1100 block of Russell Street reported on Monday jewelry, computer equipment and other items, worth a combined $2,890, had been stolen in a break-in at her home.
‰A Catlettsburg woman on Saturday reported an electronic item valued at $300 was stolen in a burglary at a building in the 2200 block of Cedar Street.
‰A woman living in the 3000 block of Moore Street reported on Saturday computer equipment valued at $600 was stolen in a burglary at her residence.
‰A man living in the 4500 block of 13th Street reported on Saturday a motor vehicle valued at $20,000 was stolen in a break-in at his home.
‰A woman living in the 1500 block of 29th Street reported on Friday jewelry, tools and other items, all valued at $2,610, were stolen in a burglary at her home.
‰A woman living in the 3100 block of Powell Street reported on Friday someone broke into her home and stole $50 cash.
Purse-snatching
‰An Ashland woman reported she was the victim of a purse-snatching early Saturday morning at Ken’s Express Mart, 954 29th St.
Theft
‰A man living in the 2900 block of Winchester Avenue reported on Saturday his wallet was stolen from his car.
‰Clark’s Pump-N-Shop, 2869 Winchester Ave., reported on Saturday someone had pumped $42.13 gas and driven away without paying for it.
‰Superior Chrysler, 1041 Greenup Ave., on Friday reported the theft of $1,800 worth of auto parts.
Shoplifting
‰A Raceland man was arrested Monday for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $145.99 from Belk in the Ashland Town Center.
‰Ken’s Express Mart, 954 29th St., on Saturday reported the theft of items valued at $12.59.
‰Jake’s Pawn, 2916 Greenup Ave., on Saturday reported someone had stolen items valued at $100.
