Woman charged with OxyContin smuggling

— A Flatwoods woman has been indicted for allegedly smuggling OxyContin into the Greenup County Detention Center and distributing it to other inmates.
Grand jurors returned a true bill earlier this month charging Elizabeth Conley, 32, with one count of first-degree promoting contraband.
The charge is a Class D felony that carries a prison sentence of one to five years.
The alleged incident occurred on Christmas day while Conley was an inmate of the detention center, according to the indictment. It wasn’t immediately known what she was serving time for.
Conley also was charged with one count of second-degree persistent felony offender.
A grand jury indictment is a formal accusation of a crime and does not establish guilt.
Others named in indictments returned by the grand jury were:
—Keith A. Boyle, 42, of Raceland, charged with one count of theft by failure to make required disposition of property over $300, one count of receiving stolen property over $300 and two counts of first-degree persistent felony offender.
—Charles A. Collier, 25, of Russell, charged with one count of second-degree assault, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of marijuana.
—Kristopher Conklin, 19, of South Shore, charged with one count of fraudulent use of a credit card.
—Jerith Isaac May, 18, of Russell, charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, one count of tampering with a witness and one count of attempted third-degree burglary.
—Valerie D. Cooper, 32, of Argillite, charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
—Stacy A. Hieneman, 24, of Greenup, charged with seven counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, one count of theft by deception over $300 and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $300.
—Christopher Ray Nelson, 23, of Louisville, charged with one count of fraudulent use of a credit card.
—Donald L. Skeens, 59, of Oldtown, charged with one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
—Seth A. Reeves, 22, of Greenup, charged with four counts of third-degree rape.
—Amy Louise Williams, also known as Amy Johnson, 34, of Greenup, charged with one count of welfare fraud, one count of identity theft and one count of first-degree persistent felony offender.
—Roy Edward Williamson Jr., 30, of Flatwoods, charged with one count of first-degree bail-jumping.
—John M. Woods, 26, of Ironton, charged with one count of welfare fraud.
