Burglaries and thefts reported

ASHLAND The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Auto theft

‰The Carspot, 981 29th St., reported an auto stolen Monday. The car’s value was estimated at $6,000.

Theft

‰A Tennessee man reported the theft of tools worth $960 from a parking lot in the 1400 block of Winchester Avenue.

‰A resident of the 1800 block of Belmont Street reported the theft of items valued at $445 Sunday.

‰A store in the Ashland Town Center reported the theft of $300 Sunday.

Burglary

‰A resident of the 3100 block of Simpson Road reported a burglary Monday. No loss was reported.

‰The Shell station at 2211 Winchester Ave. reported a burglary Saturday. A juvenile from Willowwood, Ohio, was arrested.

Shoplifting

‰Wal-Mart reported shoplifting of $280.25 in merchandise Monday. A Clay Street resident was arrested and the items were recovered.

‰Belk in the Ashland Town Center reported shoplifting of $25 in merchandise Sunday. The merchandise was recovered and a juvenile was arrested.

‰Belks at the Ashland Town Center reported shoplifting of $838 in merchandise Monday. A Huntington man was arrested.

‰A store in the Ashland Town Center reported shoplifting of $25 in merchandise Saturday. The merchandise was recovered and a suspect was arrested.
