The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
‰A woman living in the 1200 block of 29th Street reported jewelry, firearms and other items, with a total value of $11,614, had been stolen in a break-in at her residence.
‰A woman living in the 1600 block of Beech Street reported on Saturday an electronic items valued at $400 was stolen in a burglary at her home. The item was later recovered but had been damaged.
‰A man living in the 2400 block of Bath Avenue on Friday reported someone had broken into his home and stolen jewelry, electronics and other items, cumulatively valued at $5,455.
Theft
‰A woman reported on Monday someone stole $80 from her vehicle at the Shell station in the 2200 block of Winchester Avenue.
‰A Catlettsburg man reported on Monday $40 was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on Carl Perkins Drive.
‰A woman living in the 900 block of Blackburn Avenue on Monday reported the theft of vehicle parts valued at $120.
‰The Independent, 226 17th St., on Monday reported the theft of $2,200 cash.
‰A man living in the 900 block of Blackburn Avenue on Monday reported the theft of $75 cash.
‰A resident of the 1500 block of Beverly Boulevard reported on Sunday an electronic item valued at $1,500 had been stolen from his vehicle.
‰A Kermit, W.Va., woman reported on Saturday computer equipment and other items, all valued at $2,150, were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Carter Avenue.
‰An Ashland woman reported on Saturday her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 4400 block of Daniels Street.
‰Second Hand Rose Furniture, 3205 13th St., on Saturday reported the theft of a vehicle valued at $5,500.
‰An Ashland woman reported Friday items valued at $130 were stolen from her while she was eating at Gattiland in the Midtown Mall.
‰A man living in the 3500 block of Workman Road on Friday reported the theft of jewelry valued at $5,455.
Shoplifting
‰Police responded to four shoplifting incidents at Wal-Mart over the weekend — three on Friday and one on Saturday — and made arrests in all four. Two of the suspects were from Ashland, one was from Webbville and one listed a Dover address.
