Drug arrest
‰Police on Wednesday arrested an Ashland woman for allegedly possessing methamphetamine.
Michelle R. Spears was arrested at her room in the Colonial Inn, 1835 Winchester Ave., which was listed as her permanent address. She was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft
‰A Grayson woman reported on Thursday items valued at $1,100 were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Movies 10, 400 Armco Road.
‰Speedway, 1222 Lexington Ave., reported on Thursday someone had driven off without paying for $67.33 in gasoline.
‰An Ashland man on Thursday reported the theft of tools valued at $1,920 and household goods worth $900 from a location in the 4500 block of Sherwood Drive.
‰A woman living in the 2700 block of Beech Street reported on Thursday someone had stolen the license plate from her vehicle.
‰Two residents of the 3400 block of Slem Street reported having items stolen from their vehicles on Wednesday.
‰A man living in the 1400 block of Cantrell Street on Wednesday reported the theft of items valued at $600 from his vehicle.
‰A woman living in the 2000 block of Moore Street on Wednesday reported the theft of a bicycle from her residence.
‰A woman living in the 3400 block of Willis Street reported on Wednesday someone had stolen clothing valued at $108 from her vehicle.
‰A woman living in the 2700 block of Bruce Drive on Wednesday reported the theft of items valued at $635 from her vehicle. Most of the items were later recovered.
‰A man living in the 2100 block of Oakview Road on Tuesday reported his car, valued at $1,600, had been stolen.
‰Two residents of Bruce Apartments reported on Tuesday the license plates had been stolen from their vehicles.
‰Rent-A-Center, 832 Winchester Ave., reported the theft of vehicle parts valued at $2,000.
Domestic violence
‰Police responded to a domestic disturbance Wednesday night at Bruce Apartments and arrested a man for allegedly assaulting his wife.
