ASHLAND - Ashland firefighters assited workers at Mansbach Metal Co. Friday morning to extinguish a small fire. According to Ashland Battalion Chief Bob McKeon, a small air compressor/ generator caught fire at approximately 11 a.m. Friday.
When firefighters arrived workers had already degenerized the generator, contained the fire and were putting powder on it, McKeon said.
