The University of Kentucky is conducting a statewide survey of online community newspaper audiences and asking readers of The Independent to participate.
A link to the survey is provided at right.
The survey's aim is to measure the use of and attitudes toward interactive communication technologies. Specifically, it will look at interactive features and blogs, perceptions of credibility, citizen journalism, and civic and community engagement.
The survey is jointly conducted by the University of Kentucky's Department of Community and Leadership Development and the School of Journalism and Telecommunications in conjunction with KPA. Dr. Seungahn Nah (Department of Community and Leadership Development) is the Principal Investigator, and Deborah Chung is the Co-Principal Investigator (School of Journalism and Telecommunications).
