Residents report damaged vehicles

The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Criminal mischief
—Six residents of the 1700 block of Hilton Avenue reported Tuesday their vehicles had been vandalized.
Damage to the vehicles was estimated at $3,500, according to records.
—A man living in the 2400 block of Roosevelt Avenue reported Wednesday someone had done $800 damage to his vehicle.
Drug arrest
—A Greenup County man was arrested Tuesday in the Wal-Mart parking lot on a drug-trafficking charge.
Matthew Vinson of Argillite was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police seized oxycodone and $6,715 cash from the suspect.
Burglary
—A man living in the 3300 block of Winchester Avenue reported Thursday someone broke into his home and stole $87 cash and recordings valued at $50.
—A woman living in the 2600 block of Crawford Street told police on Thursday someone had broken into her residence and stolen electronic items valued at $1,800.
—A man living in the 700 block of Bath Avenue reported Wednesday clothing, electronics and other items valued at $885 were stolen in a break-in at his home.
—A woman living in the 700 block of 16th Street reported Wednesday someone broke into her home and stole firearms valued at $875.
—A man living in the 1100 block of Third Circle Prospect reported Wednesday $100 cash and a firearm valued at $420 had been stolen in a burglary at his residence.
Theft
—A man living in the 1300 block of Nichols Place on Thursday reported the theft of vehicle parts valued at $2,000.
—A man living in the 2500 block of Cumberland Avenue on Thursday reported the theft of prescription drugs and other items valued at $1,052.
—An Ashland woman reported Wednesday someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked in Central Park and stole her purse.
—An Ashland woman reported Tuesday that her purse was stolen at the Ashland Tennis Center, 1300 Oakview Road.
—Clark’s Pump-N-Shop, 3354 13th St., reported Tuesday someone drove off without paying for $12.10 in gasoline.
Shoplifting
—Two women, one from Bellefonte and one from Flatwoods, were arrested Thursday for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $63.73 from Wal-Mart.
—An Ashland woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly tried to steal items valued at $54.86 from Wal-Mart.
—A juvenile female from Coal Grove was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly tried to shoplift merchandise valued at $13.50 from Claire’s Boutique in the Ashland Town Center.
