FLATWOODS — Flu shots coming to senior center

FLATWOODS - Free flu shots will be available to seniors from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 30 at the Flatwoods Senior Center.

No registration is required. The shots will be provided by the Greenup County Health Department.

Ham radio testing Saturday

ASHLAND - The River Cities Amateur Radio Association will have an American Radio Relay League-sponsored testing session for new or upgrading radio amateur licenses at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army for 2212 Carter Ave.

Two forms of identification, including a photo ID such as driver’s license, amateur radio license or current Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination, are required.

Attendees are asked to use the back door behind the King’s Daughters Medical Center Imaging Center.

The club meets the first Monday of each month at the SA.

Church yard sale Saturday

IRONTON - Campbell Chapel Church will have its annual yard sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, rain or shine.

Proceeds will help defray the cost of shipping boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
