ASHLAND — Tebow to speak

at school


Tim Tebow will speak from 6 to 9 p.m. May 6 on the campus of Somerset Christian School as part of the Correll Leadership Program.

The event will include dinner and an address from Tebow. Premiere Heisman tables also will include tickets to an exclusive photo reception with the guest of honor to be held before dinner.

Tebow, an ESPN analyst on the SEC Network, was the quarterback of two NCAA football championship teams, the first sophomore to win the Heisman trophy and a first-round NFL draft pick.

‘Wine Down’ set for Tuesday


KEE 100 will sponsor After Work Women’s Wine Tuesday at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

The evening will include food, cash bar, fashion, music, dancing, cash giveaways, demonstrations and games.

A family caregiver workshop will be from 1 to 4 p.m. May 9 for those caring for Alzheimer’s patients at the main branch of the Boyd County Public Library.

Experts in aging and Alzheimer’s care will speak about topics that help caregivers address the demands of providing for a person with dementia.
