to win cash
Ashland Animal Rescue Foundation is collecting computer ink cartridges, printer toners and old cell phones and laptops in hopes of winning cash.
The Recycle Rumble National Contest will award the nonprofit that collects the most recyclables $5,000. Second- and third-place winners also will receive cash awards. AARF currently is in third place.
Collecting for the contest will continue until April 1, but AARF recycles the items year-round.
Donations may be dropped off at the kennel on Ky. 5, at Ashland Animal Clinic on 13th Street or with any AARF member.
AARF also will have a supply drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 5 at the Walmart on Riverhill Road.
