Appalachian Uprising gets under way May 30

SCOTTOWN — Del McCoury is among the performers on tap at the Appalachian Uprising 2013, slated for May 30 and 31 and June 1 at Eden Valley Farm in Scottown.

RV and bus-type campers are welcome. There is no fee for a camper or RV. Free firewood, in the woods next to the barn, is included in ticket prices, as is primitive camping. ATVs and UTVs are prohibited.

Water spigots are available to fill tanks. Portable toilet providers also offer wastewater pumpout services on Sunday morning for a fee.

Pets are permitted, but must remain on leash at all times.

Daily passes and three-day passes are available.
